A few common questions.
01 How long does a custom Vikin home take to build?
From signed contract to keys in hand, most of our custom homes take between 14 and 22 months. Design and permitting accounts for the first 4–6 months. We don't rush either part — both are where the long-term quality lives.
02 What's the price range for a Vikin home?
Our custom builds typically range from $1.2M to over $5M depending on scope, finish level, and site complexity. We're happy to talk through realistic budget ranges in our first conversation — and equally honest if your numbers don't quite line up with what you're picturing.
03 Do I need to have land before I contact you?
No. In fact, some of our best projects have started with us helping a client find the right site. We know Tampa well, and we know which streets, lots, and tear-down opportunities are worth pursuing.
04 Do you work with my architect, or do you have one you recommend?
Both. We collaborate with a small circle of architects and designers we trust deeply — and we're happy to introduce you. If you already have an architect or a set of plans, we'll work alongside them with the same care.
05 How many projects do you take on each year?
Six to ten. That's a deliberate ceiling — it's the most we can take on while staying personally involved in every project. When we're full, we say so. We'd rather be honest about timing than overpromise and underdeliver.
06 Will I really hear back from you personally?
Yes. Every inquiry comes to our personal inboxes — and we read them ourselves. We try to respond to every serious message within 48 hours. If we're slammed, it might take a couple of days more. But it'll be us, not an assistant.
